Injured Aamir Khan Rushes Home
Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... Will rest it out
Aamir Khan, who got injured while shooting for Nitesh Tiwari's Dangal in Ludhiana, has returned to Mumbai to recuperate.
He landed in the city last night.
The actor got hurt while shooting an intense action scene. Initially, it was believed that the injury was nothing serious and a couple of days' rest will suffice.
Accordingly, the shoot of the film, in which he plays wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, was stopped (Aamir Khan Injured, November 15).
But later, Aamir was diagnosed with a serious shoulder injury, and he decided to rush back home to seek expert medical advice.
The PK actor, however, has downplayed the seriousness of the situation by tweeting:

We hope he is right and wish him a speedy recovery.
But the point is, Aamir, who is a perfectionist, has been undergoing rigorous training for the role. He follows an intense workout regimen and also practises wrestling for hours.
The hard work, it seems, has finally taken its toll. Aamir, do you think it's time to slow down a bit?
